Der Eiger verpasst zwar um wenige Meter die magische Grenze von 4000 Meter, trotzdem übt er auf Alpinisten seit jeher eine magische Anziehung aus. Seine Nordwand ist weltberühmt und schon manchem Bergsteiger zum Verhängnis geworden. Eine Alternative zur Nordwand bietet die einfachere Route über den Mittellegigrat, mit imposanten Tiefblicken in die Eigernordwand. |
