Drahmo-Expedition: Anreise und Trekking in Nepal

Im Oktober 1999 reisten 7 Bergsteiger aus 6 Ländern, die sich alle über den AACZ kennengelernt hatten, nach Ost-Nepal. Die kleine Expedition hatte die Erstbesteigung des Drahmo (6850m) im Gebiet des Kangchenjunga zum Ziel. Die Unternehmung begann nach der Besorgung von Ausrüstung und Verpflegung mit einer Busreise von Kathmandu nach Kabeli, von wo das zehntägige Trekking ins Basislager Pangpema (~5000m) begann.
